The GoLI & Original Stash Birthday Bash!

October 11 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The Geocachers of Long Island & Original Stash Birthday Bash Community Celebration Event
Is it safe to get the parties started? Who knows. If 2020 keeps acting all 2020ish, there’s still a lot of unforeseen stuff headed our way. So, this event may be cancelled, postponed or have certain required safety precautions depending on state and local restrictions (including size limits and social distancing requirements). Keep an eye out for potential event announcements.

With that, whaddya say we get one on the calendar and see what happens? GoLI is throwing a birthday party! This event was originally scheduled for May 9th to celebrate 20 YEARS OF GEOCACHING, but then 2020 showed its true colors and the event was cancelled along with a lot of stuff around the world.

Let’s try it again! And this time we have even more to party about – this event celebrates both GoLI’s one-year anniversary and 20 years of geocaching! It’s also a Community Celebration Event – that means everyone who attends will earn the new Community Celebration Event icon!

Come celebrate GoLI‘s and geocaching‘s birthday! Those attendees that bring a wrapped birthday present will leave with a wrapped birthday present! Value of the present should be approximately $10-$15. There is no cost to this event and you are not required to be involved in the gift exchange to attend.

Event Details: Like GoLI‘s Inaugural Event, this event will be held at Eisenhower Park. It will be from Noon to 2 PM on Sunday, October 11th. And yes, there will be birthday cake!

Of course, you should not attend this event if within the 14 days prior to October 11th you have been exposed to, or are experiencing symptoms of, COVID-19 or are under any form of quarantine order. You can learn more about COVID-19 and its symptoms at the CDC website:
